A billion is a big number.
A billion is a thousand million. That would be written like this:

In China, over 1 Billion people sleep, eat, and go to work or school
(1.3 Billion people, to be exact). So, if they were all goldfish, would
they all fit in Busch Stadium?
The United States has 295,734,134 people - less than 1/4 of the population of China. (Population= the number of people in a place)
