Most people do not have cars in China. Bicycles are the most common form of transportation. Almost everything done by car or truck in the United States is done by bicycle in China - even the garbage pick-up!
Traffic on the highway can be very interesting. Small motorcycle trucks and oxen are the normal traffic.
